Pornhub has generated a Tor link site, which is accessible in http://pornhubthbh7ap3u.onion/. Going to the link will demand the Tor browser that may help anonymize your website traffic and prevent online sites providers and govt snoops from monitoring your activities.

Pornhub says it created the Tor site to protect the porn-viewing habits of LGBT users, whose sexual choices could be criminalized in certain countries. “As ill-willed hackers and diminishing surveillance methods become growing issues, it’s important what people set up inner safeguards to greatly help anonymize the web activity and communication of our users,” Pornhub VP Corey Price said inside a statement.

A Tor link may also act as an alternative solution if a govt has chosen to block the main Pornhub site. It’s why others, including Facebook, The New York Times, as well as the BBC, also have launched their personal Tor links over time.

To anonymize your actions, the Tor browser ferries your connection through a network of volunteer-operated servers throughout the world. On the drawback, web browsing on Tor could be slow as your traffic is going over the many network nodes so that it isn’t suggested for the impatient.

To protect users’ privacy, the Tor link also has disabled certain features, including the ability to log in as a registered user, and video uploading.

An alternative solution to Tor is by using a paid VPN service, that may also prevent ISPs from monitoring what sites you’re browsing. It can do that by creating an encrypted web connection using a server operate with the VPN service provider. Back in 2018, Pornhub jumped within the bandwagon by presenting its product, VPNhub.
